show me, how to climb outta this hole when you
kiss me, baby thru the phone and you
tell me, how to not let it go cause you
shimmer, crystallize in my bones
and i never wonder why i let you go (why i let you go)
and you hold me thru the night, in afterglow (night, in afterglow)
i just wanna live in the present tense
deep inside my heart i'm so intense
tell me baby, isn't it obvious, obvious
i'm not like the other girls
pull me out from the underworld
i was just looking for a freebie
tryna escape reality
but i don't mind
i just close my eyes
2x
and i never wonder why i let you go (why i let you go)
and you hold me thru the night, in afterglow (night, in afterglow)
i exist
outside of time
a tender vortex
inside your mind
i try my best
to be on time
a starry night
the stars align
2x
and i never wonder why i let you go (why i let you go)
and you see me thru the night, in afterglow (night, in afterglow)
honestly i love this album because, i love the sadness it portrays. i love the vocals, the acoustics, the electronic, experimental notes. eartheater really knew what to do with this album. vvinni
I think it's difficult to write songs about something other than romantic love, and still be able to communicate the intensity with which those feelings can hit a person. Some of the entries on this album are fantastic examples of this niche. dani_bloop
