feel like a wave
crashing on the surface
is it even worth it
forgot the words
underneath the surface
tell me how to do it
feelin all the rapture in a daze
feelin like a raptor in a maze
yeah
im paralyzed
in my paradise
if i sell my soul to you
will you make it rain on me
can you take the pain from me
for sure, for sure
if i sell my soul to you
will you make it rain on me
can you take the pain from me
for sure, for sure
colder than the IRS
bless
i can feel your energy
running all over me
im right here
for real
i need you
a refill
if i sell my soul to you
will you make it rain on me
can you take the pain from me
for sure, for sure
if i sell my soul to you
will you make it rain on me
can you take the pain from me
for sure, for sure

I think it's difficult to write songs about something other than romantic love, and still be able to communicate the intensity with which those feelings can hit a person. Some of the entries on this album are fantastic examples of this niche. dani_bloop
